Wedding Tips for Brides

One of my most asked questions is how I create such beautiful wedding flat lays for my clients to include in their wedding galleries. This is one of my favorite parts and can set the tone for the rest of the wedding day.

To ensure that your photographer is able to capture all of the beautiful details from your wedding day, it's important to set aside certain items for them to photograph during the getting ready shots. This might include your wedding invitations, shoes, jewelry, heirlooms, and other special items that you want to remember from your day. Before your photographer arrives, designate a specific area in your getting ready space where you can gather these items together. This could be a table, a windowsill, or even just a corner of the room. Make sure that all of the items are clean and free of any clutter or distracting elements. By taking the time to organize these details ahead of time, you can help ensure that your photographer is able to capture all of the special moments and details from your day.

▫️Stationery: invites, save the date, etc.
▫️Rings & ring boxes (I have ring boxes if you don't own any)
▫️Perfume & cologne
▫️Bride's jewelry: necklaces, veil, earrings, etc.
▫️Groom's accessories: watch, tie, cufflinks, etc.
▫️Wedding shoes for both Bride & Groom
▫️Extra florals TIP: Always have the bride or planner contact the florist and ask for some extra floral stems for styling. I have found most florists are more than happy to give a few extras at no charge, but some do charge. Just check in with your florist.

▫️Anything sentimental to you and your family

▫️To keep it organized just make sure to set it all aside in a box ready to go for your photographer
